To provide a reading auxiliary implement to be used for reading various types of figures such as sentences, graphics, tables and patterns, having a structure capable of flexibly coping with various constitutions of various types of figures such as sentences or the like, capable of being used as a bookmarker to be applied for a booklet such as book or the like having a structure hard to slip down.

The reading auxiliary implement 1 has a first thin piece part 2 in roughly a rectangular shape, a second thin piece part 3 connected to a longer side of the first thin piece part 2 via the holding line 7, and a third thin piece part 4 connected to a shorter side of the first thin piece part 2 via the holding line 8. In this case, the second thin piece part 3 and the third thin piece part 4 are constituted in roughly a rectangular shape. The second thin piece part 3 is of roughly a rectangular shape having longer sides almost same in length as the longer sides of the first thin piece part 2. The third thin piece part 4 is of roughly a square shape having the length from the holding line 8 to the tip end thereof being shorter than that of the first thin piece part 2.
