Title:
READING CIRCUIT FOR DIP SWITCH INPUT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3233560
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a DIP switch reading circuit capable of inputting more variable data.
SOLUTION: A DIP switch 10 switches and sets up data consisting of N bits ≥2, e.g. 2-bit data. A timer 40 counts up prescribed time. A mode discriminating means 20 inputs data and a prescribed time signal as input signals and discriminates the set state of the DIP switch 10 within prescribed time or at each prescribed time interval. The discriminated set mode is stored in a mode storing means 30. Since the difference of setting procedures can be discriminated in addition to the discrimination of the set state of the switch 10, the discriminated data can be added to the setting of the switch 10. Since condition data for the setting procedures are utilized, mode data more than the number of bits of the switch 10 can be set up.
