Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily find the mistake of expression in KANJI (Chinese character) by issuing the alarm when homonyms when a text is outputted in synthesized sound.
CONSTITUTION: A homonym detection part 8 detects homonyms in a sentence read out of a text storage part 4, and an alarm generation part 9 gives the alarm if homonyms are detected. If homonyms are detected in the middle of reading out, text synthesization stops temporarily. A user recognizes whether correction is needed or not by viewing a text display part 3. If so, he inputs for correction from an input part 1. If correction is not needed, he consecutively inputs a command to continue reading out from the input part 1.
