A tongue pressure absorber for absorbing the tongue pressure on the occasion of taking the impression is fitted to the lateral side on the tongue side of the tray with a holding member interposed. By using a pliable, elastic and glossy sponge-like substance for the tongue pressure absorber, the tongue of a patient can be led naturally toward the tongue pressure absorber without a strain and also a gathered spittle is absorbed.
