Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled reagent having high activity and capable of giving a polyamide, etc. rapidly, without heating, by the direct polycondensation of a diamine, etc. and a dicarboxylic acid, by mixing a triphyenylphosphine compound, a halogen compound and a pyridine compound.

CONSTITUTION: The objective reagent can be prepared by compounding (A) preferably 1.1W2.0mol, based on 1mol of the carboxyl group in the polycondensation raw material, of a triphenylphosphine compound (preferably triphenylphosphine) with (B) preferably ≥1.0mol, based on 1mol of the component (A), of a compound containing polyhalogenated carbon atom in the molecule (preferably hexachloroacetone or hexachloroethane) and (C) ≥0.1mol, based on 1mol of the component (A), of a pyridine compound (preferably pyridine).

USE: Also useful for the direct polycondensation of a diol and a dicarboxylic acid.
