To obtain a new compound, used in immunoassay for detecting lysergic acid diethylamide(LSD) and its metabolite and useful for preparing an antigenic reagent, an antibody reagent or a tracer reagent.
This compound is represented by formula I (R1 and R2 are each H or R3R4, with the proviso that at least one of R1 and R2 is H and not simultaneously H; R3 is a bond when R4 is COR5 and is a 1-10C hydrocarbon when R4 is NHR5; R5 is H, L or LX; L is a bonding group and X is a detector or a carrier molecule bonded through L), e.g. 1-[[[(4-isothiocyanatophenyl) carbonyl]amino]-butyl]-N,N-diethyl-D-lysergamide. The compound represented by formula I is prepared by reacting a spacer arm from am indole nitrogen of an LSD residue to the outside. Thereby, an LSD derivative represented by formula II is produced. The LSD is a hallucinogenic agent acting on the central nervous system and capable of changing the sensory perception.
