Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve that an antigen or an antibody is analyzed quantitatively in a uniform phase system with high detection sensitivity and with good accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: An immunity-measuring reagent is composed of a liposome whose main constituent component is at least one out of a phospholipid and a glycolipid, of a labeling substance sealed in the liposome and of an antigen fixed to the liposome, of one part of the antigen [a fragment (Fab')2, Fab or Fab] of an antigen or of one part of the antigen. In the immunity-measuring reagent, the fixed amount of the antibody, one part of the antibody, the antigen or one part of the antigen is 10-3mol or higher per mol of a lipid. In an immunity-measuring method, the amount of the antigen or the antibody in a sample is measured by using the immunity-measuring reagent.
