Title:
REAL IMAGE VARIABLE POWER FINDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002072107
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a real image variable power finder which is excellent in aberration correction and has an angle of view at the wide-angle end of 66 degree and a variable power ratio of three times regardless of the objective lens of which the each group is composed of a single lens.

A real image finder is composed of a positive objective lens group, which is composed of a negative first lens group G1, a positive second lens group G2, and a negative third lens group G3 in order from the object side, a visual field frame F, which is located in the vicinity of the focal plane of the objective lens, and a positive eye lens group EP which magnifies a real image generated by the objective lens and the visual field frame F. In this real image variable power finder, at least the second lens group G2 is moved along the optical axis to vary the power, and a real image generated by the objective lens is converted to an erect image by locating a first prism P1 between the third lens group G3 and the visual field frame F and locating a second prism P2 within the optical path between the visual field frame F and the eye lens group EP. In addition, the inequalities (1) and (2) are satisfied.
