Abstract:
PURPOSE: To schedule an execution task at a real time.
CONSTITUTION: A preemptive dispatcher 19 which selects a task carried out by a CPU 21 each time is associated with a data base 17 and transfers an task 15 already on deadline to execution. An online scheduler 11 which receives a request from an application 14 when the application 14 is in its execution mode and receives a request for both current and future starting times is connected to the data base 17, confirms about each request whether all of previously received requests as well as a task request satisfy their deadlines at the time of a dispatcher 19 in its execution mode, and schedules the task 15 in the data base 17 based on the slow busy period of the CPU 21 so that the dispatcher 19 may arrange that the task 15 should be finished as close to its deadline as possible.
