To decrease the waiting states of a client due to the locking of a database and to improve the data processing performance by updating the data base by means of the updating data and based on the information added to the updating data or transferring the updating data to another data base server that is connected to a network.

A server 1 which performs the updating of data is provided with a data updating server 1-2 which analyzes the updating data, updates a data base 1-3 and transfers the updating data to another server 1. The server 1-2 decides whether the received updating data are sent from a client 2 or another server 1 based on the information included in the updating data. If the updating data are sent from the client 2, the information included in the data is rewritten into the server information and transferred to another server 1. As a result, an RDB server 1-1 can not perform the updating of data only via the server 1-2.
