Abstract:
To provide a real time encoder and a real time encoding method that can store line 21 data superimposed on an analog video signal as user data in the same timing as that of a received image and display proper character information from an encoded image even when a scene is changed.
When a GOP header is generated in the case of generating a video stream, an area to store the line 21 data is reserved, and when coding of all GOPs is finished, the line 21 data extracted from the video signal are sroted in the area reserved in the case of generating the GOP header.
