Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a pat part from fusing due to elastic deformation of a cut material while maintaining work accuracy by suppressing deflection of a cutting edge member.
CONSTITUTION: A cutter edge member 3 is fitted to a tip of a tool main body 1, rotated about an axial line 0, to provide an edge part, and a cutting chip discharge groove 5 is formed in the periphery of this cutting edge member 3, also forming cutting edges 7a, 7b by fitting a cutting edge tip 6 to a tip of a wall surface 5a facing to a tool rotation of the groove. In the rearward of the tool rotation direction of the cutting edge 7d, a margin part 9 is formed along the cutting chip discharge groove 5, and further in the rearward of this margin part 9, pat parts 10, 11 and formed. A diameter R1 from the axial line 0 of the margin part 9 is set large than a diameter R2 of the pat parts 10, 11, and a difference between the diameters R1-R2 is set within a range of 0.01mm to 0.02.
