PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reamer capable of preventing damage to a bush supporting a tool main unit by a joint between pad members of a guide pad and a worked prepared hole of a workpiece.
SOLUTION: In this reamer, formed by providing a cutting blade 5 protruded to an external peripheral side of a tool main unit 1 of almost columnar shape rotated around an axial line C in its tip end part and providing a guide pad 8 protruded to the external peripheral side of the tool main unit 1 to be extended in a direction of the axial line C, the guide pad 8 is constituted by adding a plurality of pad members 8a, 8b connected in the direction of the axial line C. A joint 9 of each pad member 8a, 8b is diagonally crossed relating to the direction of rotation of the tool main unit 1 and formed so that at least one part of an external peripheral surface of the pad members 8a, 8b exists in the direction of rotation.
