PURPOSE: To prevent catching of a product in burr removing work by specifying a right relief angle of at least one edge on its back portion, in a reamer having plural edges.

CONSTITUTION: 6 edges are formed on the side face of a burr removing reamer. And an angle made by a right relief angle of at least one edge 1, that is, an angle of intersection between a tangent of a circle drawn by the tip of the edge 1 in the tip and a line specified by the back of the edge 1 is made 0. When this reamer is retained vertical to a rotating axis and burr portion of a steering wheel is disposed on its side face to remove burr, the back of the edge 1 always profiles the product while making turning movement. Then, the edge 1 cannot catch the product to prevent failure such as flaw of the product, and an operator can perform working without giving close attention, including such a profit that, even if the operator is not skilled, he can handle the reamer easily.
