Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of reduction in a wheel base by installing a reinforce member in the upper part of symmetrical rare arms, connecting both symmetrical ends of a rear arm rocking shaft cylinder to symmetrical reinforced materials with plane view X-shaped connecting members, and setting up a buffer in a space part between the connecting members. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 26 extending in the car width direction is pivotally supported on a body frame free of rotation around the shaft, installing a pair of arms 29 from both symmetrical ends of the frame, and a rear wheel 9 is pivotally supported at the rear end. The arm 29 is formed in a box form made of sheet metal, a rear reinforce member 40 is solidly installed in the upper part, and the front end sides of these symmetrical rear reinforce members 40 are connected by a front reinforce member 35, while both symmetrical ends of the cylinder 26 are connected to each other by a plane view X-shaped connecting member 45. A space part is formed between this connecting member 45 and the cylinder 26, and a buffer 11 is set up there. Reinforcement for a rear arm part is promoted, while a space is formed between the cylinder and the reinforce member front part and a buffer is set up therein, so that a wheel base can be shortened.
