Abstract:
To provide a rear body structure of an automobile capable of securely protecting occupants on a seat and a fuel tank, etc., by forcibly moving a spare tire downward at the time of rear collision.
A sub center member 6 is bridged between a rear end member 2 connecting the rear end of each rear side member 1 and a cross member 3 bridged between rear side members 1. The sub center member 6 is deformed in such a shape that the sub center member presses a spare tire under it downward at the time of rear collision.
