Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the external appearance quality of a rear door window glass peripheral edge part without increasing the number of part items.

CONSTITUTION: The peripheral edge part 12A of rear door window glass 12 is fitted to the opening peripheral edge part 16C of a rear door outer panel 16 by urethane adhesive 26. A dam member 30 is disposed on the outside of the urethane adhesive 26, and the hollow part 30B of the dam member 30 is pressed by a protruding part 28 integrally formed at the opening peripheral edge part 16C. The hollow part 30B is thereby deformed elastically so as to enter into a clearance 24. The clearance 24 is not therefore exposed. The quality of external appearance is improved without increasing the number of part items.
