Abstract:
To provide a rear flapping device and a vehicle carrier having the rear flapping device that facilitate performing work for turning an attitude of rear flapping from a horizontal attitude to a vertical attitude.SOLUTION: A rear flapping device 1 provided on a vehicle carrier includes: rear flapping 2 capable of changing an attitude of the vehicle carrier relative to a loading space 102 between a vertical attitude and a horizontal attitude; a first auxiliary force applying mechanism (a rod unit 30) for applying auxiliary force to the rear flapping 2 in a direction of changing from the horizontal attitude to the vertical attitude; and a lock mechanism (a first pedal unit 10, a second pedal unit 20, a hook unit 40) for, when the attitude of the rear flapping 2 is the vertical attitude, placing the attitude into a locked state, which is a state in which the rear flapping 2 is fixed. The lock mechanism places the rear flapping 2 of the vertical attitude in the locked state by stopping operation of the first auxiliary force applying mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
