Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound vibration performance by enhancing installing rigidity of a bracket for supporting a muffler by joining at least a car width directional outside end part of the bracket to a side surface part of a rear side member.
SOLUTION: A car width directional outside flange 8c of a bracket 8 is joined to a side surface of a rear side member 2. A car width directional inside flange 8d is joined to a side surface of a spare tire pan 3. In the bracket 8 of this constitution, since the car width directional outside flange 8c is joined to the rear side member 2 being a strength member, installing rigidity of the bracket 8 is enhanced. Since the car width directional inside flange 8d is particularly joined to the spare tire pan 3, the installing rigidity of the bracket 8 is sufficiently improved. When the installing rigidity of the bracket 8 is improved, installing rigidity of a rod 10 is enhanced to thereby improve support rigidity of a muffler 11 to finally improve sound vibration performance of the muffler 11.
