Abstract:
To provide a rear fog lamp control device which reduces discomfort against which a rear fog lamp gives to a crew member boarding on a subsequent vehicle without using an exclusive distance sensor and so on.SOLUTION: A rear fog lamp control device 10 is equipped with a rear fog lamp 13, a rear fog lamp switch 14, a first illuminance sensor 15, a second illuminance sensor 16 and a calculation control unit 19. The rear fog lamp 13 is disposed on a rear end side of a vehicle 11 and then emits light rearward. The rear fog lamp switch 14 is configured so as to be able to turn on or turn off the rear fog lamp 13. The first illuminance sensor 15 detects illuminance from a vehicle rear direction and the second illuminance sensor 16 detects illuminance of circumference around the vehicle 11. The calculation control unit 19 changes brightness of the rear fog lamp 13 based upon outputs of the first illuminance sensor 15 and the second illuminance sensor 16 when the rear fog lamp switch 14 lets the rear fog lamp 13 make it possible to turn on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
