PURPOSE: To prevent a drop in cooling efficiency and a stack of cut grass from occurring each through a simple and low-cost means by the structure of a transmission cover in use of the wall of a fender, by taking in cooling air into an inner part of the fender where the flying-up of cut grass is less by means of the covering.
CONSTITUTION: In this mowing machine, a mower is installed in a lower web between both front and rear wheels, while a traveling transmission M mounted with an HST 30 in the front is installed in the rear of a machine body. In addition, a seat supporting fender 13 rising up in and around the front of this transmission M is installed upwards the transmission M. Likewise a four-side constituent transmission cover 4 covering those of symmetrical sides, the rearward and the upside of the transmission M is installed there. Further an inlet 38 of cooling air to the HST 30 is formed in the front on a top face 4a of the cover 4. In brief, the cooling air is taken into an inner part of the fender where the flying-up of cut grass is less by means of the covering. With this constitution, a drop in cooling efficiency and a stack of cut grass in part of the HST 30 are all prevented from occurring.
