PURPOSE: To suppress the deformation of a door opened port part by transmitting a part of the load inputted on the collision of the rear part of a vehicle to a car body upper part by bending the rear edge of a belt line reinforcement downward and joining said rear edge with a rear side frame.
CONSTITUTION: Each rear side frame 4 extending in the longitudinal direction of a car body is arranged on the rear part right and left sides of a car body. The upper part of the rear side frame 4 is welded onto a rear floor panel 5, and the outer side part is welded onto a rear quarter panel 6, and the rear side frame 4 is formed to have a closed section. A belt line reinforcement 14 is arranged on the outer side surface 6a of the rear quarter panel 6 on the periphery of a wheel house 8. In this case, the rear part of the belt line reinforcement 14 is shaped into a downward bent form, and the lower edge 14c is elongated to the position corresponding to the rear side frame 4, forming a closed section between the rear quarter panel 16.
