To provide a rear printing label which has a simple label structure saving the quantity of label materials and the problems of which in manufacturing such as rubbing, scratching, or peeling off of an adhesive layer surface on the rear face of the label or staining or erasing of a printed face are eliminated even when the label is printed by a non-pressure printing method such as ink-jet printing and electrostatic toner printing as well as various other printing methods requiring printing pressure by so devising that various information can be easily formed on the label rear face side without directly printing it on the pasting layer or on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer face.
The rear printing label is composed of: a print part 2 of normal images printed on the rear face of an opaque label base material 1; a transparent or translucent adhesive layer 3 coated on the rear side of the base material 1 in such a manner as to conceal the print part 2; and a label print layer 5 of normal images printed on the front face of the base material 1.
