PURPOSE: To reduce hammering sound while attaining light weight and improve the high quality sense of an automobile by forming a rear spoiler made of soft resin material such as thermoplastic rubber into hollow shape.
CONSTITUTION: Both end parts 1 and the wing part 2 of a rear spoiler are both formed of thermoplastic rubber, for instance, into hollow shape of about 3.5-4.0mm in plate thickness. The thermoplastic rubber is molded into an upper member 31 and a lower member 32 by an injection molding machine. After cooling, the upper member 31 and the lower member 32 are taken out and bonded to form a hollow rear spoiler. With this rear spoiler equipped at the rear part of an automobile, hammering sound is reduced while attaining light weight, and the high quality sense of the automoble can be improved in addition to the original function of improving travel stability and wheel grounding friction.
