The rear structure for the saddle-type vehicle includes: a seat 50 including a seat skin layer 52, a cushion, and a seat bottom plate 54; and a seat rail 8 disposed in the rear part of a vehicle body frame for bearing a load on the seat 50. The seat bottom plate 54 includes a seat hook 60 and the positioning protrusion 65 formed to protrude downward. The seat rail 8 includes a seat hook insertion hole 96 for inserting the seat hook 60 therein, a seat catch 97 for locking the seat hook 60, and a locking hole for locking the positioning protrusion 65. The positioning protrusion 65 of the seat bottom plate 54 is integrally disposed in the rear part of the seat hook 60, and the locking hole is formed as the seat hook insertion hole 96 of the seat catch 97.
