To provide a rear suspension device for an automobile capable of obtaining excellent operation stability by suppressing rotation displacement of a suspension cross member and obtaining sufficient riding comfort performance.
The multi-link type rear suspension device for the automobile is provided with a suspension cross member B constituted by side members 19, 20 and cross members 17, 18; suspension links 6-10 supported by the suspension cross member; and a plurality of elastic mounts 40, 42, 44 for mounting the suspension cross member to a vehicle body C. Bore parts 40d, 44d are formed on the elastic mount and are formed at positions on lines L1, L3 passing through a virtual mount central point Pc, i.e., a rotation center of the suspension cross member determined by the plurality of elastic mounts and central points 40e, 44e of the elastic mount provided with the bore parts.
