PURPOSE: To enable camber variation to be controlled in response to bump and rebound in a trailing arm system rear suspension system by devising a position in which a control link pivotably supported on the car body side of a camber control mechanism is disposed.
CONSTITUTION: A semitrailing arm 1 disposed generally longitudinally of a car body is lingitudinally connectively constituted from a front side member 11 and a generally cylindrical rear side member 12, and a rear wheel W is supported rotatably on a cylindrical support 121 of the rear side member 12. The front end of the front side member 11 is mounted vertically pivotably on the car body through an elastic bushing 14. A first control link 31 of a camber control mechamism 3 has the base end secured fixedly to a fixing portion 123 of the rear side member 12 directed inward forward, and a second control link 32 is connected to an end of said link 31 through a ball joint 34. This link 32 is vertically disposed in front of a vertical plane including a pivotal center axis l of said arm 1.
