Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve a degree of running stability, by setting up a body-side fulcrum part of an A arm supporting a rear axle in front and the rear of a wheel center, while setting an axis of the bush to a rocking axis of the A arm as in flaring toward the front of a car. CONSTITUTION:A central free end of an A arm 13, where both end leg parts 13a and 13b are attached to a support member 5 of a rear suspension, is connected to a bracket 12 being connected to an axle housing 8 supporting a rear axle 6 free of rotation, while an outer end 19b of a lateral rod 19, where an inner end 19a is attached to the support member 5, is connected as well. In this case, both these end leg parts 13a and 13b of the A arm 13 are set up in front and in the rear of a wheel center C, while an axis l1 of the bush is set to a rocking axis l3 of the A arm 13 as in flaring toward the front of a car. With this constitution, an interseting angle alpha between the axis l1 of the bush and an axis l2 of the lateral rod rod 19 is set to about 60 deg..
