Optional parts such as a lamp device 2, a camera device 3, an obstacle detector and the like constitute a unit structure. As a result, the numbers of components and assembling processes can be reduced. A mirror assembly MA can be equipped with the lamp device 2, the camera device 3, the lamp device and the camera device, or nothing according to the needs of a user. When the mirror assembly MA is equipped with nothing, a storage opening 12 of the mirror housing 1 is covered with a cap 4 so that there is no possibility to impair the external appearance and waterproof and dustproof effects.
