Abstract:

PURPOSE: To lessen backlash, and thereby enhance freedom in layout by making up a link mechanism out of three links wherein they are connected to one another, and thereby making the link at an actuator side parallel with, and identical in length to the link at a suspension arm side.

CONSTITUTION: A link mechanism 35 connects the output shaft 37 of an actuator 34 to each rear side lateral link 13L and 13R by means of three series of link trains 47 and 48, respectively. In the case of the left side link train 47, a line connecting the center (a) of the output shaft 37 over a first link 41 to the connecting center point (b) of a third link 44 is set parallel with, and identical in length to a line connecting the center (d) of a pivot 46 over a second link 42 to the connecting center point (c) of a third link 44. In addition, in the case of the right side link train 48, a line connecting the center (a) of the output shaft 37 over the first link 41 to the connecting center point (e) of a third link 45 is set parallel with, and identical in length to a line connecting the center (d) of the pivot 46 over a second link 43 to the connecting center point (f) of the third link 45.
