Abstract:

To mechanically regulate expansion/contraction of a toe control actuator using a feed screw mechanism due to external force.

Even when driving force is reversely transmitted from a rear wheel to a motor 36 through the feed screw mechanism 39 of a rear wheel steering device and a power transmission path, a tip end of a lock pin 116 of a locking means 111 provided in the power transmission path is friction-engaged or recessed/projecting-engaged with a circumferential surface 74b of an input flange 74 having the largest diametrical direction distance from a rotation axis in the power transmission path. Therefore, without supplying an electric current resisting to the driving force to the motor 36, the small-sized locking means 111 having small capacity prevents rotations of the motor 36, thereby preventing the deformation of a toe angle of the rear wheel.
