Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sharp driving feeling applicable to a sports car, while keeping high ride quality by using a rubber bush 26 in a multi-link-type rear suspension A wherein a wheel support 11 is connected to a car body by using five links 6-10 and the rubber bushe 26 is mounted on each link end on the car body side.
SOLUTION: A lower end part of a buffer 14 wherein a coil spring 12 and a damper 13 are approximately coaxially mounted, is pivoted on an end part of a connecting part 30 extended to a car body inner side of a wheel support 11 of a rear wheel 2, and its vertical reaction force generates the momental force Mn in the direction of a negative camber to the rear wheel 2. The buffer device 14 is mounted at a car body inner part of the rear wheel 2 in a predetermined state, so that the momental force Mn is constantly increased to a limit area of the lateral force in comparison with the momental force Mp in the direction of the positive camber by the lateral force, in the rear wheel 2 at a turning outer side of the automobile. The buffer device 14 is mounted to a virtual king pin shaft K in such manner that its vertical reaction force generates the momental force in the toe-in direction, on the rear wheel 2.
