Abstract:

To provide a rear wheel toe angle variable vehicle capable of highly accurately and stably detecting the actuation amount of a rear toe actuator.

When a driven gear 53 is rotated and driven by a motor 46, the rotor 56 of a rotational sensor 42 engaged with the driven gear 53 via a pin 55 is also rotated by the same rotational amount as that of the driven gear 53. Then, in the rotational sensor 42, a detection signal is generated according to the rotational amount of the rotor 56 (that is, the driven gear 53), and the detection signal is output to a steering ECU 7 via a harness 59. The steering ECU 7 calculates displacement (or rotational amount of the driven gear 53) of a rod 48 from a neutral position based on the detection signal of the rotational sensor 42, and estimates a real toe angle based on the calculation result to perform feedback control of a driving current to reduce a difference from a target toe angle.
