PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture by assembling a main plastic member in the outer shell of a power operated rearview mirror assembly, supporting moving mechanisms with the main plastic member, and rockably supporting the rearview mirror assembly with a dual-axis pivot member integral with the main plastic member.

CONSTITUTION: A power incorporating assembly portion 14 stored in a shell 12 having a convex surface shape is constituted of two moving mechanisms 18, 18, and a mirror assembly 16 including a mirror case is rocked around first and second pivot axes. The assembly portion 14 is provided with a molded main plastic member 20, and the main plastic member 20 is fixed by coupling slots 30 provided on its edge side with tongue pieces 32 protruded on the inner face of the shell 12. A dual-axis pivot member 54 is protruded on the center portion of the main plastic member 20, the mirror assembly 16 is rockably supported on the pivot member 54, the front half section of each moving mechanism 18 is rockably supported on the main plastic member 20, and the rear half section is supported on two independent casing members 60.
