PURPOSE: To smoothly process an overlapped incoming call request from plural facsimile terminals by storing the transmitting source telephone number of an incoming call when the facsimile terminal is busy and recalling the transmitting source when the communication is completed.

CONSTITUTION: When a facsimile terminal 11 facsimile-receives from a facsimile terminal 8 through an exchanging switch 1 and an output input trunk 2 and the incoming call is executed from a facsimile terminal 9, a CPU 6 stores a transmitting source telephone number to a memory part 110 of the facsimile terminal 11. After the communication is completed, the facsimile terminal 11 reads the contents of the memory part 110 immediately and the calling is executed to the facsimile terminal 9 applicable to the transmitting source telephone number.
