Abstract:

To permit a customer to issue only arbitrary use history information as a receipt at arbitrary timing.

In a storage part 203 of an IC card 200, the use history information 204 on the customer who possesses the card is stored. If a request for the use history information 204 is made from a receipt issuing device 100 to the IC card 200, in the IC card 200, the use history information 204 is read out, signature information generated by an authentication processing part 205 is added to the former information, and the resultant is sent to the receipt issuing device 100. In the receipt issuing device 100, the received use history information 204 is authenticated by an authentication processing part 103 using the received signature information. The use history information 204 of which the validity has been confirmed is displayed on a display part 102, a desired piece of use history information 204 is selected by the customer, and on the basis of the selected piece of use history information 204, a printing part 107 prints to issue the receipt.
