The receipt printer 30 comprises a printing means that converts an accumulation of the amount of purchases a consumer has made so far into a two-dimensional code and prints it, and a two-dimensional code scanner, and by reading the two-dimensional code printed on a receipt, and adding an amount of the purchase this time to the data, updates the accumulation of the amount of purchases. When the accumulation of the amount reaches a predetermined amount, the receipt printer issues a discount coupon which can be used on the consumer's next visit.
