Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inbound traffic acceleration device, acceleration method and acceleration program for accelerating so that the transport protocol of a data transmission device can use up an available band as quickly as possible, while suppressing reply of unnecessary acknowledgement packet.SOLUTION: An inbound traffic acceleration device is a data receiving device 1 for replying a response packet to a data packet received from a data transmission device 2, and includes target transmission speed estimation means 12 for estimating the available band of a network based on the reception results of the data packet, and estimating the target transmission speed based on the estimated available band, current transmission speed estimation means 13 for estimating the current transmission speed at which the data transmission device transmits the data packet, on the basis of the reception results of data packet, and response transmission frequency determination means 15 for determining the transmission frequency of the response packet so that the current transmission speed approaches the target transmission speed, on the basis of the estimated target transmission speed, and the estimated current transmission speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
