PURPOSE: To facilitate search for a received article in the above device for a laundry or the like by attaching a display lamp to a storage shelf for giving a shelf number to it, registering a customer data and the shelf number correspondingly to each other, and inputting customer data to turn on the display lamp of the shelf.

CONSTITUTION: A storage shelf 3 is given a shelf number per division and fitted with a display lamp 11. At the time of receiving an article requested to clean from a customer, a customer cord, a customer name and an article number for each article name are inputted from the key board 9 of a POS terminal section 2, and registered in RAM 5, and a receipt is then printed out by a printer 10 and given to the customer. When cleaning the article is finished and the article is received into the storage shelf 3, the shelf number is registered correspondingly to the customer data. When a brought-in receipt or the customer name is inputted, the shelf number is searched from RAM 5 for turning on the display lamp corresponding to the shelf number.
