PURPOSE: To surely receive required information automatically by providing an automatic changeover section giving an ultrasonic wave reception output to a sound output section in place of a radio reception output in receiving an ultrasonic wave.
CONSTITUTION: In throwing a selector switch 3a to the position of the automatic switching, since the radio reception section 1 is connected to the sound output section 4 via an AND circuit, a NOT circuit, an OR circuit of a switching circuit 3B and a multiplexer MPX, a radio broadcast is listened to at a location and a time having no ultrasonic wave. When the receiver comes to a location having the ultrasonic wave or the ultrasonic wave broadcast time comes, however, since an ultrasonic wave reception holding section 5 gives an automatic changeover signal 6 to the AND circuit of the automatic switching section 3 through the reception of the ultrasonic wave 2, the ultrasonic wave reception section 2 is connected automatically to the sound output section 4 via the OR2 circuit and the multiplexer MPX.
