Abstract:

To provide a receiver drier having a small number of components, and capable of preventing intrusion of foreign matters into a body, and preventing corrosion due to intrusion of moisture from the external.

The receiver drier 1 includes a cylindrical body 2 opened at its one end, a desiccant 4 received in the body, a condenser-side connecting section 5 disposed on an opening end section of the body and having a refrigerant inlet hole 5b and a refrigerant outlet hole 5c communicated with the inside of the body, and a strainer 7 disposed between the condenser-side connecting section and the body, and preventing the foreign matters included in a refrigerant flowing in from the refrigerant inlet hole, from flowing out from the refrigerant outlet hole. A pipe 6 is fixed to the opening end section of the body, the pipe includes the strainer at one end side and communicated with the refrigerant outlet hole at the other end side, and a refrigerant flow channel 5d communicated with the inside of the body and the refrigerant inlet hole is formed around the pipe.
