Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver of freezing cycle in which its small diameter can be attained, refrigerant-saving can be realized and its installability on a bus vehicle can be improved.
SOLUTION: A receiver 4 is constituted by a lateral pipe 6 arranged in a horizontal direction crossing at a right angle with a vertical direction and formed with a gas-liquid separating section 21 inside of it, and a vertical pipe 7 extended from a communication port 22 formed in the midway part of a longitudinal direction of the lateral pipe 6 in a substantial upper part and forming a liquid reservoir 25 inside of it. An inlet pipe 8 is connected to a substantial upper part of one end of the lateral pipe 6 and an outlet pipe 9 is connected to a substantial lower side of the other end of the lateral pipe 6. Then, an inner diameter of each of the lateral pipe 6 and the vertical pipe 7 is set to be &phiv 30 mm to &phiv 40 mm more than three times of an inner diameter of each of the inlet pipe 8 and the outlet pipe 9, thereby the receiver 4 is made fine in respect to a barrel diameter of more than &phiv 80 mm of the prior art receiver while a sufficient gas-liquid separating performance and a liquid storing performance can be attained.
