With this configuration, even when a second user operates a numeral key "2" of a remote controller 70B to transmit a signal to the broadcast receiver 100 before the signal is transmitted from the remote controller 70A based on the operation of an ENTER key, since the broadcast receiver 100 is in the exclusive period for the remote controller 70A, and the signal received from the remote controller 70B is discarded and is substantially treated as invalid.
