Abstract:

PURPOSE: To delete the message with the simple button operation by providing a control means managing a channel selection means, a reception means, and a storage means and deleting all the selective calling signals of the storage means when the channel selection means selects channels.
CONSTITUTION: After a PLL 15 selects the optimum frequency from among the radio wave received by an antenna section 16, the received message is stored in a memory 17. A CPU14 controls a series of operation. The channel is selected at the time of exchanging the battery or when it is returned to the signal receiving range after deviating off the range. The channel selection is started by depressing an A button 12 and a button 13 simultaneously, and the optimum frequency is automatically selected to display the reception frequency 11. At this time, the channel selection is operated and the received selective calling signal can be eliminated at the same time. Thus, the message can be deleted with the simple button operation.
