Title:
RECEIVER TANK FOR HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012057831
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a receiver tank in which an assembling work of a filter is stably and easily performed, thermal deformation of the filter by thermal influences during welding is suppressed, corrosion resistance is improved and deformation of a cap due to increase in the inner pressure is prevented.

The receiver tank is connected via inflow and outflow piping with a parallel flow type heat exchanger, and has a filter made of a synthetic resin in a lower face side of the tank. The tank includes a cylinder 11 into which the filter 40 is inserted, and a cap 20 welded to a lower end opening of the cylinder. The cap is formed into a hollow conical shape comprising a large diameter part 22 to be inserted and fitted to an inner circumference face of the cylinder and a tapered part 23 with a reduced diameter which is extended from one end of the large diameter part toward the inside of the cylinder. The filter includes: flanges 43a, 43b to be loosely fitted in the cylinder; at least three projections 46 evenly spaced on the outer circumference face of the flanges and to be slidably in contact with the inner circumference face of the cylinder; and a space 44 in the lower face center, where the top end part in the tapered part with a reduced diameter of the cap can enter.
