To provide a receiver which demodulate a received signal by using transmission line characteristics presumed by considering the same channel interference.
The receiver 10 includes a signal separator 60, an estimator 70 and a demodulator 80. The signal separator 60 separates a digital signal OFDM from an A/D converter 50 into a plurality of channel signals F1-FN corresponding to a plurality of frequencies f1-fN. The estimator 70 extracts a plurality of preambles from the plurality of the channel signals F1-FN, and estimates a transfer function of the transmission line by using a plurality of extracted preambles. The estimator 70 calculates a noise power v by using the actually received plurality of the preambles and the estimated transfer function. The demodulator 80 add the noise power v to the signal having the plurality of the symbols extracted from the plurality of the channel signals F1-FN, decodes its addition signal and outputs data DATA.
