To provide a receiving circuit and communication equipment in which center frequencies of an RF filter and an LO filter rarely diverse even when circuit characteristics become uneven.
A phase comparison circuit 104 compares a phase of a signal input to an LO filter circuit 120 with that of a signal output by an LO filter circuit 120 and outputs a signal showing a phase difference. A frequency setting circuit 105 generates a control signal for adjusting a tuning frequency of an RF filter circuit 110 and the LO filter circuit 120 on the basis of the signal from the phase comparison circuit 104 and outputs the signal to both the RF filter circuit 110 and the LO filter circuit 120. The control signal is generated on the basis of the phase difference shown by the signal from the phase comparison circuit 104 so that the center frequencies of the Rf filter circuit 110 and the LO filter circuit 120 may be held to prescribed value.
