Title:
RECEIVING DATA STORAGE SYSTEM IN PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01175026
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to repeatedly use once received printing data by writing and storing receiving data in a writable non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A printer for storing printing data has a receiving part 1 for receiving data, an analyzing part 2 for analyzing reception data, a storing part 3 consisting of a writable/readable non-volatile memory for storing reception data, a switch operation part 4 for transmitting a depressed switch state to the analyzing part 2, an editing part 5 for reading out and editing the stored receiving data, and a printing part for executing printing processing. The analyzing part 2 acts so that reception data are successively stored in a storage part 3 from the detection of a reception data storage starting instruction up to the reception of a reception data storage end instruction. At the time of detecting a reception data printing instruction, the analyzing part 2 reads out printing data stored in the storing part 3 successively and sends the read data to the editing part 5 to edit the data. The editing part 5 edits the printing data and sends the edited contents to the printing part 6.
