A receiving device 1 clamps a flat part 4a formed on both longitudinal sides of a panel-shaped work 4, from the upper and lower sides with upper and lower clamping members 2, 3 to hold the work 4 in a designated position. The lower clamping member 3 has a rotatable base part 5 and three adjusting pins 6a to 6c provided on the base part 5 and capable of separately sliding in a parallel direction with a rotation axis O of the base part 5. One adjusting pin 6a of the adjusting pins is provided on the same axis as the rotation axis O of the base part 5.
