To provide a receiving implement for a shelf plate easily, certainly and firmly installed to a lengthwise member.

This receiving implement 1 for the shelf plate has: a main body part 4 abutting on and supporting the shelf plate 3 laid between the lengthwise members 2; a locking part 5 provided inside the main body part 4 slidably to a direction on the opposite side of the lengthwise member 2; and a locking screw member 6 screwed in the main body part 4 from the opposite side thereof, having a screwing side tip part screwed in the locking part 5. Both locking claw parts 5c of the locking part 5 easily inserted into a locking groove 2a extending to a long direction of the lengthwise member 2 because both the locking claw parts 5c are disposed side by side in a vertical direction that is the long direction of the lengthwise member 2, are hooked to an opening part of the locking groove 2a of the lengthwise member 2 by the locking screw member 6 and slide operation of the locking part 5 to an axial direction (the direction on the opposite side of the lengthwise member 2 side) of the locking screw member 6 performed by action of a screwing part thereof. This arrangement brings the lengthwise member 2 into a state wherein the lengthwise member 2 is drawn to a side of the receiving implement 1 for the shelf plate, and an interval is made to increase to a direction orthogonal to the long direction of the lengthwise member 2 to firmly lock both the locking claw parts 5c to the locking groove 2a.
